The Advanced Skydive Training program (AST) is the most up to date, advanced, time tested & comprehensive curriculum for skydive training today.  3 generation of worlds’ best skydiving instructor have contributed to the development and continuous advancements in skydive student training.  The result is the Advanced Skydive Training Course.

The AST (Accelerated Skydiving Training) program is a structured training method designed to teach students how to skydive safely and independently. It is similar to the widely known AFF (Accelerated Freefall) program, however the AST training is far superior that AFF or IAD.  The AST training is exclusively offered by Exilerate℠ skydiving school in Las Vegas.

Here’s an overview of what AST typically includes:

1. Ground School

• AST Ground School is 5 days vs AFF 6 hours.
• Comprehensive training on the basics of skydiving, equipment use, body positioning, and safety protocols.
• Detailed instruction on how to handle emergency situations, such as malfunctions or reserve parachute deployment.
• Extensive canopy control class.

2. AST Jump Progression (25 jumps) vs. AFF (7 jumps)

• 2 x Tandem Jumps with assignment
• 20 x One-on-one freefall jumps with instructor (coach)
• 2 x low altitude jumps (solo) – meeting USPA requirements
• 1 x Aircraft Emergency simulation
• 25 jumps – USPA A-License vs.  AFF / IAD (7-jumps) No license!

3. Extensive Canopy Control

• Focuses on controlling and landing the parachute safely in various conditions.
• Includes exercises like precision landings and handling different wind conditions.

4. Advanced Techniques

• As students progress, they practice advanced freefall skills, such as turns, flips, and dockings, formation skydiving, sequential skills.
• Builds confidence and prepares students for solo skydiving certification.

5. Certification

• After completing the required number of 25 jumps and required skills, students qualify for USPA “A” skydiving license.
