Initial Enrollment Payment

If required by the School, the Initial Enrollment Payment consists of enrollment tuition and applicable booking, administrative, merchant processing, convenience, and other transaction fees. All transaction-related fees are non-refundable once payment has been successfully processed. The School reserves the right to establish, modify, increase, decrease, or waive tuition, fees, or payment requirements at any time before enrollment or billing. Changes shall not affect amounts already billed and paid unless otherwise agreed to in writing. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Refund Policy – Initial Enrollment Payment

Enrollment tuition is refundable only if the student cancels enrollment in accordance with the Cancellation Policy. After the applicable cancellation deadline, enrollment tuition becomes fully earned and non-refundable, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Approved refunds apply only to refundable enrollment tuition and do not include booking, administrative, merchant processing, convenience, or other transaction fees, all of which are non-refundable. No refund shall be issued for educational services, instruction, scheduling, instructor time, aircraft time, equipment allocation, administrative services, or any other service that has been provided, reserved, scheduled, committed, or made available by the School, regardless of whether the student elects to participate in, discontinue, or complete the AST Program. Cancellation Policy – Initial Enrollment Tuition

Students may cancel enrollment and receive a refund of the enrollment tuition by providing written notice at least twenty-one (21) calendar days before the scheduled check-in date and time specified in the Enrollment Confirmation email. Cancellation requests received after this deadline are not eligible for a refund of enrollment tuition. Booking, administrative, merchant processing, convenience, and other transaction fees remain non-refundable under all circumstances. Once a student checks in, attends Orientation, participates in Ground School, receives instructional services, participates in wind tunnel training or any training jump, or otherwise begins the AST Program, enrollment tuition becomes fully earned and non-refundable, regardless of whether the student withdraws or completes the Program, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Check-In

Students must report for check-in at the date and time specified in the Enrollment Confirmation email. Failure to report without prior written approval from the School shall constitute a failure to commence the AST Program. If the Initial Enrollment Payment is non-refundable under these Terms and Conditions, it shall remain non-refundable.

Students must present:

  • S. Citizens: A valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, identification card, or U.S. Passport.
  • Non-U.S. Citizens: A valid Passport.
  • Payment Verification: The credit card used for the Initial Enrollment Payment if requested for identity verification.

During check-in, students must complete all required enrollment documents, establish a student jump account, and pay all remaining tuition, fees, and other applicable charges before participating in Orientation or any training activity. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Payment of Tuition

If an Initial Enrollment Payment was not required, full tuition is due during check-in. If an Initial Enrollment Payment was previously made, the remaining tuition balance is due during check-in. All tuition and applicable fees must be paid in full before the student may begin Orientation or participate in any training activity. The School accepts cash, credit cards, bank wire transfers, and other payment methods approved by the School. Students are encouraged to use the same credit card used for the Initial Enrollment Payment; however, another credit card may be accepted if the cardholder and card are present for verification. No additional fee is charged for cash payments. A completed Credit Card Authorization Form is required for all credit card transactions. Electronic authorization completed during online enrollment applies to the Initial Enrollment Payment. Any additional credit card payment made during check-in requires a separate signed Credit Card Authorization Form. Upon receipt of the final tuition payment, the student’s enrollment is financially complete, and the School reserves instructors, aircraft, equipment, scheduling, facilities, and other resources necessary to conduct the AST Program. From that point forward, all tuition is deemed fully earned and non-refundable, regardless of whether the student elects not to begin training, voluntarily withdraws, is dismissed under School policies, or fails to complete the Program, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Orientation

Upon completion of check-in, execution of all required enrollment documents, and payment of all required tuition and fees, the student shall be considered fully enrolled in the AST Program. Orientation marks the commencement of educational services. During Orientation, the School will introduce the AST curriculum, training progression, scheduling procedures, operational policies, safety requirements, equipment, and student responsibilities. The student will also receive access to the instructional materials and educational resources designated by the School. By participating in Orientation, the student acknowledges that educational services have begun and agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions, School policies, safety requirements, and the directions of School personnel throughout the AST Program. Tandem Levels 1 and 2 (TL#1 & TL#2)

Following Orientation, the student will receive the first training assignment and begin preparation for Tandem Level 1 (TL#1). Subject to weather, instructor availability, aircraft availability, daylight, operational requirements, and scheduling, TL#1 may be conducted on the same day or a later training date at the School’s discretion. Upon successful completion of TL#1 and demonstration of the required knowledge, skills, and proficiency, the student will begin preparation for Tandem Level 2 (TL#2). Successful completion of TL#2 and all required performance standards qualifies the student to begin Ground School and preparation for supervised solo skydives. Advancement is based solely on demonstrated proficiency, judgment, safety awareness, and instructor approval. The School may require additional instruction or repetition of any training level whenever necessary for safety or educational purposes. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Ground School and Classroom Instruction

Ground School consists of approximately fifteen (15) hours of classroom instruction, generally conducted over five (5) consecutive training days. The curriculum follows the United States Parachute Association (USPA) First Jump Course (FJC) recommendations together with additional instructional materials and training methods developed by the School. The School recommends completing Ground School on consecutive training days to maximize learning and retention. When operationally feasible, the School may permit Ground School to be completed over multiple weekends or other scheduled dates; however, such accommodations are not guaranteed. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classroom sessions and arrive on time. Failure to attend without prior approval constitutes a No-Show and may result in additional fees. Ground School is proficiency-based. If additional classroom instruction, review sessions, or remedial training are required, the School may require the student to complete such instruction before progressing. Any additional instructional time beyond the standard curriculum shall be billed in accordance with the Student Enrollment Agreement. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Wind Tunnel Training and Coaching

Wind tunnel training is not required for enrollment in the AST Program and is not included in AST tuition. However, the School strongly recommends that students complete at least one (1) hour of wind tunnel training with a qualified coach to improve body flight skills and accelerate progression. All wind tunnel fees, coaching fees, equipment rental, and related expenses are the sole responsibility of the student and are paid directly to the wind tunnel facility or independent coach unless otherwise agreed in writing. The School may assist students with scheduling wind tunnel sessions as a courtesy but does not own, operate, supervise, or control any wind tunnel facility or independent coach. All wind tunnel services are provided independently and remain subject to the policies, scheduling, pricing, waivers, and operational requirements of the applicable facility or coach. The School assumes no responsibility or liability for such services.  I, [First Name], agree.

 

AST Jump Schedule

Upon successful completion of Ground School, required examinations, and any prerequisite training established by the School, the student may become eligible to begin in-air training under the supervision of appropriately rated instructional personnel. All training jumps shall be scheduled by the School based on instructor availability, aircraft availability, equipment availability, weather conditions, student proficiency, airport operations, safety considerations, and other operational requirements. While the School will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling preferences, all training activities, sequencing, postponements, cancellations, and scheduling decisions remain solely within the School’s discretion. Advancement

Advancement through the AST Program is based on demonstrated proficiency rather than time or jump numbers. Completion of any lesson, classroom session, assignment, wind tunnel session, or training jump does not guarantee advancement. Students must successfully demonstrate the required knowledge, judgment, decision-making, safety awareness, practical skills, and performance standards established by the School before progressing to the next training level. The School may require additional instruction, coaching, classroom training, wind tunnel training, evaluations, or repetition of any portion of the Program whenever necessary for safety, proficiency, or educational purposes. Advancement decisions are made solely by the School’s instructors and management and are final. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Repeat Training Jumps

If a student does not successfully complete the performance requirements for any training level, evaluation, or required exercise, the School may require repetition of that training or any portion thereof before advancement. The determination of successful completion shall be made solely by the School based upon the student’s demonstrated knowledge, judgment, safety awareness, practical skills, and overall proficiency. The student is responsible for all costs associated with repeat training, including instructor fees, aircraft fees, equipment rental, pack jobs, coaching, wind tunnel training, classroom instruction, and any other applicable training or administrative fees. The School may also require additional remedial instruction whenever necessary to ensure safe progression through the AST Program. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Authority

The AST Program is conducted in a dynamic, safety-critical environment. The School, through its management, Chief Instructor, instructors, coaches, pilots, riggers, manifest personnel, and other authorized staff, retains sole authority over all aspects of the AST Program and skydiving operations.

This authority includes, but is not limited to:

  • Student eligibility and participation.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, postponement, or cancellation of training activities.
  • Instructor, coach, aircraft, and equipment assignments.
  • Training progression and advancement.
  • Additional instruction, repeat training, or remedial training.
  • Student currency requirements.
  • Operational procedures and safety requirements.
  • Suspension, discontinuation, or dismissal from the AST Program.
  • Any other decision necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the School.

Students shall immediately comply with all instructions issued by authorized School personnel. Failure to comply with School policies, safety procedures, or operational directives may result in suspension or dismissal from the AST Program without refund, except as otherwise required by applicable law. All safety, operational, scheduling, and training decisions made by the School are final and are not subject to appeal. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Student Scheduling

The AST Program is an instructor-led educational program. All scheduling and sequencing of training activities are determined by the School based upon student progression, instructor availability, aircraft and equipment availability, weather, airport operations, safety, and other operational requirements. While the School will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a student’s availability, it cannot guarantee specific training dates, instructors, completion deadlines, or scheduling requests. Students are responsible for maintaining reasonable availability, promptly responding to School communications, and immediately notifying the School of any change in availability, travel plans, work schedules, medical procedures, vacations, or other circumstances that may affect participation. Training interruptions may affect proficiency and safety. If a student’s training currency lapses, the School may require refresher training, repeat training, additional coaching, or repetition of previously completed training before the student may continue. Attendance

Students are expected to attend all scheduled training activities, arrive on time, and be prepared to participate. Failure to attend without prior approval constitutes a No-Show and may result in applicable fees under the Student Enrollment Agreement. Absences, late arrivals, or extended interruptions may require additional instruction, refresher training, repeat training, or coaching before the student may continue. Repeated absences, excessive tardiness, or failure to actively participate may result in suspension or dismissal from the AST Program. I, [First Name], agree.

 

No-Show Policy

Failure to report for any scheduled training activity at the designated date and time without prior approval from the School constitutes a No-Show. A No-Show may result in instructor fees, aircraft fees, scheduling fees, administrative fees, or other applicable charges as set forth in the Student Enrollment Agreement. Repeated No-Shows may delay training, require additional instruction, or result in suspension or dismissal from the AST Program. The School reserves the sole discretion to determine whether an absence constitutes a No-Show and whether any applicable fees will be waived. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Equipment Allocation

All parachute systems, helmets, altimeters, radios, jumpsuits, and other training equipment are assigned by the School based upon safety, student qualifications, equipment availability, and training objectives. Students shall use only equipment assigned by the School and shall not exchange, modify, or substitute equipment without prior approval. The School reserves the right to reassign or substitute equipment at any time for operational, maintenance, or safety reasons. Students are responsible for exercising reasonable care while using School equipment and may be financially responsible for loss or damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or intentional misconduct. Drop Zone Logistics and Staff

The AST Program is conducted within an active skydiving operation. The School retains sole authority over all drop zone logistics, staffing, instructor assignments, aircraft operations, equipment allocation, scheduling, and training activities. Students shall follow the directions of all School personnel and shall not interfere with or attempt to direct Drop Zone operations. Failure to comply with School procedures may result in suspension or dismissal from the AST Program.  I, [First Name], agree.

 

Weather Suitable for student training

Skydiving is a weather-dependent activity. The School may modify, delay, postpone, reschedule, or cancel any training activity due to weather, safety considerations, instructor, aircraft or equipment availability, operational requirements, airport operations, regulatory requirements, or any other circumstance that, in the School’s judgment, may affect the safe or efficient conduct of training. Such changes do not constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions and do not entitle the student to a refund. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Student Conduct

Students are expected to conduct themselves in a safe, professional, and respectful manner at all times. Students shall comply with all School policies and the instructions of School personnel and shall treat instructors, coaches, pilots, staff, other students, visitors, and School property with respect. Disruptive, abusive, threatening, dishonest, or unsafe conduct may result in suspension or dismissal from the AST Program. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Student Currency

Students are responsible for maintaining training currency throughout the AST Program. If training is interrupted for a period determined by the School to affect the student’s proficiency or safety, the School may require refresher training, additional coaching, repeat training, or repetition of previously completed training before the student may continue. Medical Fitness

Students are responsible for remaining medically fit to participate throughout the AST Program. Any illness, injury, surgery, pregnancy, medication, or other condition that may affect the student’s ability to safely participate must be reported to the School immediately. The School may suspend training until satisfactory medical clearance is provided. I, [First Name], agree.

 

 

Alcohol and Drugs

Students shall not participate in any training activity while under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, cannabis, illegal drugs, recreational drugs, or any prescription or over-the-counter medication that may impair judgment, coordination, or performance. The School may refuse or discontinue training whenever impairment is suspected. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Personal Equipment

Students shall use only equipment approved and assigned by the School. Personally owned skydiving equipment may not be used during the AST Program unless inspected and approved by the School. The School reserves the right to prohibit the use of any equipment it determines to be unsuitable or unsafe. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Photography and Video

The School may photograph, video record, or otherwise document training activities for instructional, safety, quality assurance, debriefing, promotional, or other lawful business purposes, subject to any separate Media Release executed by the student. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Personal Property

Students are solely responsible for their personal property. The School assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought onto School property, aircraft, vehicles, or the Drop Zone. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Program Completion

Successful completion of the AST Program requires satisfactory completion of all required classroom instruction, assignments, examinations, training jumps, evaluations, and proficiency standards established by the School. Enrollment in the AST Program does not guarantee completion of the Program or the issuance of any skydiving license, rating, certification, or membership. School does not guarantee exact completion dates. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Duration of the AST Program

The AST Program must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the student’s official check-in date unless the School approves a written extension. The AST Program is proficiency-based, not time-based, and its duration depends on the student’s demonstrated proficiency, weather conditions, instructor, aircraft and equipment availability, scheduling, and other operational or safety considerations. The School does not guarantee completion within any specific timeframe or the issuance of any skydiving license. Additional training or refresher instruction may be required at the student’s expense. USPA Membership

Students are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any United States Parachute Association (USPA) membership required to participate in the AST Program or to obtain any USPA license or rating. All membership fees, license fees, examination fees, and other associated costs are the responsibility of the student. I, [First Name], agree.

 

FAA and USPA Compliance

Students shall comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, United States Parachute Association (USPA) Basic Safety Requirements (BSRs), and all School policies and procedures. Where multiple standards apply, the more restrictive requirement shall govern. I, [First Name], agree.

 

English Language Requirement

Students must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to safely participate in classroom instruction, ground training, aircraft operations, and skydiving activities. The School reserves the right to suspend or discontinue training if it determines that a language barrier creates a safety concern. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for:

  • Attending all scheduled training activities.
  • Arriving on time and prepared for training.
  • Completing all required assignments and evaluations.
  • Following the directions of School personnel.
  • Complying with all School policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining training currency.
  • Promptly communicating scheduling conflicts or changes in availability.
  • Reporting any medical condition, injury, illness, or medication that may affect safety.
  • Exercising reasonable care while using School equipment.
  • Conducting themselves in a safe, professional, and respectful manner throughout the AST Program.

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may delay training, require additional instruction, or result in suspension or dismissal from the AST Program. I, [First Name], agree.

 

Acceptance of Terms

By selecting “I Agree,” submitting an enrollment application, or making any payment toward the AST Program, the student acknowledges that they have carefully read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
